The Leafs will not get a better return in the trade market then this summer. They should deal Nylander for Shattenkirk. Marner for McDonagh and they could get a first round pick for Mathews. They'd have to sweeten the pot. Mathews, Zaitsev, JVR, Kadri, Kapanan and 6 first round picks for a first round pick. |

So the Leafs doctors cleared Zaitsev to.return to action for the last 4 games vs. Washington ....but will not clear him to play for Russia because of a concussion? Hmmmmm.  |
